About Me

My name is Martin, and I am a NASM-certified personal trainer with a long-standing background in weight training and competitive bodybuilding. I have been training consistently for over seven years and competing in bodybuilding for the past four. Growing up in an athletic environment and participating in multiple sports, like soccer, swimming, basketball, tennis, and more. I developed a strong appreciation for structured training, discipline, and personal development. Over time, I discovered that what I enjoyed most was helping others work toward their goals. By combining that passion with one of the environments I value most—the gym—I began guiding individuals toward sustainable progress, confidence, and long-term results.

During my sophomore year of high school, I found that bodybuilding was the sport that truly resonated with me. I began working with Master Trainer Dick Cook of Dick Cook Athletics in the Chicagoland area, where my training and understanding of coaching advanced significantly. Under his guidance, I not only refined my own approach to training, but also learned how to effectively teach, communicate, and work with others. These experiences shaped my coaching philosophy and gave me the confidence to apply those lessons independently, helping individuals pursue their fitness goals with clarity and structure.

Training Location

Training takes place at the Hamilton Recreation Center, located at Colorado Mesa University in Grand Junction, Colorado. The facility is a well-equipped training environment that has everything you need. This is the primary gym where I personally train, allowing me to coach within a setting I know well and trust. Colorado Mesa University students have access through their membership. Non-students may require a separate facility membership.
